Overview
Financial Application Design Structure
Stable is a design system built from the ground up, focused on supporting financial and tax-based product workflows. The system utilizes core foundations, atoms, molecules, components, and patterns, structured to serve as a solid framework for designing and building out a complete application.

Design System Framework
Stable is structured across five layers: foundations, primitives, components, patterns, and page templates. Each layer builds directly on the one before it, so decisions made at the token level carry through the entire system without breaking consistency. The architecture was designed to scale, making it straightforward to add new components or patterns without disrupting what was already in place. The visual diagram maps out these connections across every layer to display what each value and asset affects throughout the system.

System Documentation
Built out technical documentation for the Stable design system, covering each component with live previews, usage guidelines, and code snippets. The documentation was designed to support both light and dark modes, giving users a direct reference for how each component works and how it should be properly implemented.

Implementation
Each component in Stable was built to translate directly into the application, with a clear and traceable relationship between the system and the product. The diagram maps specific components and their code to their corresponding implementation in the tax application, showing how the design system functions as a practical and connected foundation rather than just a reference library.
